We’re a family drawn to adventure, creativity, and the deeper questions of life. After years of exploring the world in search of meaning, we felt a quiet pull — a longing for a place to root ourselves. A hidden corner where time slows down and life unfolds differently.

For us, that place is Malvaste.

We’ve always been passionate about creating experiences that enrich life and open new perspectives. Our vision is to shape a space where everyone can feel free to simply be — without layers or masks, but with lightness, connection, and joy.

Dmitri

Dmitri has always been entrepreneurial by nature, but in recent years he’s begun to question what “work” truly means.
Why do we dedicate so much of our lives to it?

He’s built successful companies, and he’s failed too. Alongside business, he studies the art of Gong Fu tea ceremonies, practices Wing Tchun martial arts, meditates, and explores Zen.

Dmitri spent many childhood summers on Hiiumaa, and his father worked on the island’s ferries during Soviet times.
There’s something that draws us here. The island calls. Malvaste calls.

Valerie

Valerie is a multidisciplinary artist who combines traditional fine art techniques and digital animation to create immersive, thought-provoking experiences. Her art invites viewers to engage with deeper questions about perspective, experience, and the world around them.

In her work, she asks: How can we push the boundaries of art and technology to better understand ourselves and our world? She seeks to merge traditional fine arts with cutting-edge digital techniques to create immersive, thought-provoking experiences. Her goal is to inspire others to see the world differently and to challenge the limits of what is possible.

She holds a Master Degree in International Law , currently pursuing a Master program in Fine Arts in Estonian Academy of Arts.
